We are lead designer and founder Jess Begum and operations manager Teresa Aldave, and together we are Fireweed Florals. Jess started Fireweed in 2018 after 20 years of working as a designer in the industry and after a lifetime of being an artist. Teresa came on board in 2021 to organize and streamline the heck out of our business. Together we are a force! A beautiful, creative, artistic and now well organized force. (Thanks Teresa!)

Fireweed is our wedding and event floral design studio based in Santa Monica, and we serve the greater Los Angeles area and we will travel anywhere. We specialize in unique, artistic floral design for your Los Angeles or destination wedding. Although wedding floral design is where we shine, we also offer one of a kind, custom designed flowers for all types of events including weddings, bridal and baby showers, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, corporate events, fundraising events, brand collaborations and home interior staging.

We feel what sets us apart from other studios is our artistic training. Jess is trained in fine art and color theory and brings her artistic expertise to all of her designs.
